HEAD OF TEAM & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Head of Team & Community Development is a senior leadership role responsible for building, developing, and supporting the people who power Roar. This role owns the full team lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to training, performance, and growth, while protecting the culture and standards that define our studios. It is a hands-on, people-first role for a leader who balances empathy with accountability and thrives in building strong systems and strong teams.

San Francisco Superintendent is a senior operations leadership role overseeing multiple Roar studios and Studio Managers across the city. This role ensures operational excellence, team performance, and a consistently elevated client experience, serving as the connection between leadership vision and day-to-day studio execution. It is ideal for a confident, highly organized leader who can manage complexity, uphold standards, and keep community at the center of every decision.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR

Group Fitness Instructor is a client-facing role responsible for delivering safe, effective, and engaging strength training classes that reflect Roar’s programming standards and values. This role plays a key part in creating an inclusive, motivating, and welcoming experience for every client in the room.

This role requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week, including at least one weekend day, and the ability to lift and move 35+ lbs as part of daily studio operations.

It is well suited for someone who is confident leading groups, passionate about women’s strength, and committed to consistency, reliability, and high-quality coaching.

STUDIO SUPPORT

Studio Support is an essential front-of-house role that ensures each studio runs smoothly before, during, and after classes. This position supports daily operations, client experience, and studio organization, helping create the warm, polished environment Roar is known for.

This role requires a minimum commitment of 3 days per week, including at least one weekend day, and the ability to lift and move 35+ lbs as part of daily studio operations.

It is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and energized by supporting both clients and trainers in a fast-paced, community-driven setting.
